Pacoima Rocks!

This Saturday, three of my best girlfriends at work threw me a wonderful baby shower. Here I am cozy in front of the fire with an amazingly generous amount of gifts (they all didn't fit in the picture!).



Here are the three organizers, Theresa, Jo and Jennifer. They each made a delicious salad and brought other good foods to share! I couldn't ask for better friends.



This week is my 35th of 40 weeks of pregnancy. I feel really good most of the day except when I have to bend over (grunt) or turn over in bed (groan). However, most of the time I am very aware of how blessed I am to not have strech marks (yet, knock wood), no swelling in my face, feet or hands (my shoes and rings still fit) and a calm blood pressure. Mostly I feel so blessed to have so many friends and family who are excited about the birth of our little guy. Thanks!

Hey sleepy boy, wake up we want to see you!

At 33 weeks, our little guy
(yes, another ultrasound confirmed he's a boy)
is looking good! He has lost the skeletal
form he had 13 weeks ago, and now he has round
cheeks and peach fuzz hair.

I know every mother must think her child is beautiful,
but it's not just me, right?

Good night sweetheart, I can't wait to
see you face to face in a few more weeks.
