Goings On

These are just some random pictures from this past week. Milo really loves writing. If I was more brave and not such a neat freak, he might get more practice. For Christmas or his birthday, I'll get him a little table where he can have his own special place to draw.

Another Zoo Day

Momma's and their babies at the zoo. This is just the kind of stuff I have wanted to do for years, and I love it.

Playdate

We went over to our friends house on Friday evening for a change of scenery. It was very relaxing and, yet, exciting. They just got a Vespa cycle, and I got a ride! I felt like a teenager. Thanks J and L. As always, L took some beautiful pictures of Milo, and I took this one of their little guy.

Milo goes to the library...

and he'll be going back in another 6 months or so. He just wanted to run, squeal and pull the books off the shelf. Not ready yet.

DVR/TiVO Test 2

I know a lot of your DVR/TiVo's had trouble getting Lyman on Leno's show. Try again this Thursday morning. Lyman will be on my crush, Matt Lauer's Today Show, Thursday morning with Steve Tyrell again. He'll be on the 10:00 hour when Kathie Lee takes over. I know I have to work that morning, so my DVR better not screw it up again.

Check these out...

Check your local listings- Lyman will be on Jay Leno's show Monday July 7 performing with Steve Tyrell.
Speaking of Steve Tyrell, his latest album is out. It FINALLY features the talents of Lyman Medeiros on bass on track 6 and 9 (I think). Check it out if you can.

Back Home Again

I finally made it home to see my new nephew- who is not so new. Milo and I had a great time, and I hope you enjoy the many posts of pictures from our week in the Hoosier state.

Grandma Donna

We were able to spend a lot of time with Grandma Donna! She drove her cookies down to Martinsville three of the five days, stayed over one night and we spent a day in Indianapolis with her and our family and friends. Here were are out to lunch; I didn't get a picture of the whole table, but John, Denise and Luke were on the other side. When we got home, Greatest Aunt Carol was waiting. Later that day, we went to Lana and David's where we saw their pretty grandchildren and their dogs. Milo loved all the dogs and cats- even this huge great Dane!

Cousins

Nathan James - 6 months
Milo Walker- 16 months

More Matching

Mom got the boys these cute little matching rompers. They were having fun together until...

Me too!

Milo was very intrigued by all Nathan's baby things. He took a stroll in the walker...

and he had to try on Nathan's tiny new shoes. Yes, he's still our baby too.

Extended Family

Thankfully the Taylor-Mulders were able to spend the holiday with us. It wouldn't be a Rinehart event without them!

4th of July

Here are Kelly and me with one of our favorite cousins Connie, and below Milo is playing with his cousins Sean and Lane. All sides of my family are heavy on the baby boys. We'll know what Kathy having soon!

Happy Birthday Sarah

My (third?) Cousin Sarah celebrated her 15th Birthday with us at the party. She is a beautiful young lady with such a big heart!
This is Sarah's Aunt Elaine holding my nephew Nathan, and below is her Grandma, my Aunt Betty.

Above is my Uncle Wayne (Sarah's grandpa) and my sister-in-law (Nathan's mom) Lyna. Below is my amazing Grandma Jean.

Wiffle Ball

In the great Rinehart tradition, Connie led us in a game of backyard Wiffle Ball. It was just like old times in Betty and Wayne's back yard; I'm glad Connie and Brian have the space and good will to host us all. Daddy created his own one arm handicap and had to remind young Sean here that there is, "no crying in baseball."
