Party Time

We celebrated Milo's third birthday yesterday. His actual day is Friday, and he'll have another party at school! It's nice to have a week between to decompress otherwise I think he would explode from the attention and excitement. Milo had a great time. No tears like last time and only a little clingy with anxiety.
Above we are having a musical parade and below playing heads, shoulders, knees and toes (I don't quite get to my toes, do I?) At night, we were talking about his party, and he sighed, "All my friends were there."

Bubble Time!

Craft Time

Since we had our party at the same location last year, I wanted it be a little different with our bigger kids and add a craft. It was pretty simple, only a little messy and quickly done.

Here is Milo with his lion and all the others drying on the counter. I don't know about our guests, but Milo's lion lost it's eyes before he was snapped in his car seat, and I tossed it at home. Fun idea, but little staying power.

Cake

Lyman asked Milo for weeks what kind of a cake he wanted, and every time he said, "Thomas!" But that trick has been played already by me, so I made this instead. It was a hit with Milo and everyone who ate it. Yum!

This is the overflow cake since the other was not big enough to feed our whole crowd. I spent about 5 minutes on this cake, but it's pretty cute too with a fraction of the effort!

Presents

After the party, we headed home for the present extravaganza. Milo got so many wonderful new things from nice new clothes, fun toys, interesting books and fun in the kitchen. Thanks everybody!
