Pumpkin Time

The past few weeks have flown by; we have been busy at work, school and enjoying all the fall activities. We started the season at a patch with Daddy. Milo was not afraid of this haunted corn field since the gate was closed.

It took him a few passes to get the nerve to stand by this grim reaper.
More bouncing.

Paint Job

This is neither before or after- but mid mess.

I wanted to paint the bedroom all summer, but that seemed to be a waste of vacation time doing a big, tough job. I need that time to lay on the couch and watch TV. So now, when no one has any free time, I decide to paint. Suffering from some delusion and amnesia, I thought I could paint my large bedroom all alone in one afternoon. This is how I left it, after four hours, to go on with my planned life. Thankfully, a pro could meet Lyman Monday and finish the job before I go home from work. I love the new color! I'll post an after picture sometime soon.

Another Patch!

While Lyman was working, Milo and I met our friends at a patch near their house. I give this one a D-. It was too close to the freeway with loud traffic noise, then they blared loud country music through speakers all over the patch and the girl working in the jumper put Milo in time-out for being as crazy as all the other jumpers. I would give this place an F, but Lesli said they had the cheapest pumpkins of any patch. There's the silver lining I like. Of course, she said this after we got out of there, went to her cool quiet house and she was opening a bottle of wine. That's how we do it.

Pumpkin Festival

My girlfriend Wendy invited Milo and me along to a Pumpkin Festival that was super fun. It was a beautiful "summer" day with blue skies and gentle breeze to cool us from the hot temperature. There was so much to do; our 20 bucks entertained and fed us for 3 hours. Milo dug for bones in the toddler game area...
Baby is happy after a snack and diaper change.
Look at this Daddy and Uncle Mike! You entered through Batman's crotch, went through some interior obstacle and then down the slide...
Milo exiting the slide...
and digging for more bones. I definitely will go here again next year!

Yum!

When we saw the decorate your own cookie craft, Wendy and I both knew that was for us, I mean, our kids. They may not be the cake decorators that we are, but he sure enjoyed eating it.
