Griffith Park

After 85 hours of being housebound with Milo's last viral flu virus (13 days following his stomach flu!) we escaped to the Observatory on a beautiful so-Cal day. Inside, Milo was old enough to watch a planetarium show which was magical. I want to see all the shows with M this year.

Milo's 7th Birthday

We rocked out Milo's 7th birthday again at an indoor play place with all our local friends. It's taken me two weeks to blog about it because since that very night he has had stomach flu and viral flu in a 13 day span. The party was a success with a big turn out with kids ready to run, balloon sword fight and jump.
The cakes were the weak link. Bakery ordered and very sub-par. Next year, a compromise, homemade cupcakes- no fuss on decor but big on taste. This cake tasted a lot like the box it came in.
This is a motley crew, right? This is toward the end, after they had run, jumped and sword fought for two hours straight. Looks like Milo is still fighting!   We are so grateful for all our pals and the fun times we share all year. I love kids birthday parties. You're celebrating- everything. As Lyman and I said to one another, we kept our kid growing, safe and happy for 7 years. Not a bad job so far.
