Park Day

We celebrated the birthday of my girlfriend's, Celeste, daughter in Santa Monica. Look at M in long cords (thanks Aunt Lyna and Uncle Sam)! Milo was very interested in the toys in the sand, but he doesn't like to get touched by the sand.

Grandma!

Here are a few pictures from our visit to the park yesterday. Milo wasn't very cooperative as far as posing but we got a few shots. Mom has been having a great time playing with the little man, it didn't take him very long to warm up to her at all. We haven't really been doing much, just taking Milo to Gymboree or the Merry-Go-Round at the mall. But we all know seeing Milo is much more important than seeing L.A. Only a couple more days left until she heads home.

Milo loves it when Grandma reads to him:

Thanks Auntie

Thank you Auntie K for the special markers that only write on the special paper! They came the day after Milo drew this masterpiece on the living room wall. FYI, the regular crayolas are totally washable; the wall came completely clean (in fact, cleaner since I haven't ever washed it!) with a light scrub.

Absent Blogger

Happy Labor Day, finally! I know I have been an absent blogger. Thankfully, it's not because we have been bored and have had nothing to do. It's quite the opposite with the busy start of the school year, Lyman's trip to Oklahoma, my book club meetings and now I am taking a cake decorating class. We're all happy and healthy; I hope you are too!

Happy Birthday Mommy!!!

For those of you who didn't know, yesterday was Carrie's 33rd Birthday (at what age is it impolite to ask how old a woman is? ...). Even though I had to work we had a good time celebrating, I made breakfast in bed and we went to another birthday party/cookout (the second of the weekend).

Happy Birthday! We Love You!
